Billing questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 14-day trial needs nothing but an email address. You only enter payment details if you decide to keep going at the end of it.
What happens when my trial ends?
Nothing disappears. Your world stays exactly where it is, in read-only, until you pick a plan. Choose one whenever you are ready and everything is editable again.
What is the difference between the two plans?
Worldbuilder covers everything to do with the world itself: places, people, cultures, magic, maps, timelines and relationship webs.
Worldbuilder + Story Planner adds the drafting side on top: beats, scenes, chapters, the manuscript editor, writing sessions, and somewhere to jot down plot holes as they occur to you so you can come back to them.
On the Worldbuilder plan you can still read your story planning, you just cannot edit it. Nothing you write during the trial is ever locked away.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, either way, whenever you like. Manage it from your account and the change takes effect straight away.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes, by more than 30% against paying month to month. You are billed once for the year.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscriptions are not refundable.

No. There are no generative AI features, and nothing you write is sent to an AI model. The tools organize your ideas. The ideas stay yours.
