No. Nothing you write is sent to an AI model, and nothing here is generated for you.
How is this different from other worldbuilding apps?

Most worldbuilding apps are blank encyclopedias, and it's easy to spend a year filling pages and never start the book. Quill&Steel OS is a guided worldbuilding app with prompts that walk you through a character, a magic system, etc. Plus it has three outlining methods, scene and chapter planning, a manuscript editor, and session tracking that all sit alongside your world, so the worldbuilding feeds the draft instead of replacing it.
Is there a free trial?

Yes. 14 days, and no card needed to start. When the trial ends your world stays exactly where it is, in read-only, until you pick a plan.
Do I own my work? Can anyone else see it?

You own everything you write. Your account is private by default, so no other user can reach your world.
Can I export my world?

Yes. Export your manuscript as DOCX, ePub or PDF, and your maps as PNG, JPG or PDF. A full Markdown archive of your entire world is also available on paid plans.
Does it work on my phone?

Yes! Everything adapts to a small screen for reading and quick edits, but the map builder, relationship web and manuscript editor all want room to work and are best experienced on a desktop.
